During the 1st trimester, you already feel nauseous 75% of the time and taking the test did not help. One thing to add is that the finger prick did not hurt as much as I had thought but it was tough to do on myself. So we will just have to wait and see in two weeks what the ultrasound technician sees! Still a far cry from the companies promised 99% accuracy claim. So, I asked AGAIN and said please only answer if you have taken this test! This time, the answers were more like 60% incorrect. The SneakPeek Early Gender At-Home DNA Test Kit has the potential to find out the sex of your baby with 99.1 accuracy as early as 8 weeks gestation. Someone sent me a direct message and said that she has never been pregnant nor has she taken the test but selected an answer because you can’t see the results of an Instagram stories poll without clicking an option. I mean, Sneak Peek has at least a 50% chance of getting them right. A whopping 70% said it was inaccurate! This cannot be true. So clearly in the video, I 100% believe the results HOWEVER a few weeks ago, I asked Instagram via a poll in my stories if my viewers took the test and if it was accurate for them. Watch the video below to see the results… I sent it in on Thursday and had my results delivered via email Sunday afternoon around 2 pm. I was 10 weeks and 4 days when I took the test. I ordered the test on Black Friday and waited a couple of weeks to take it. We scheduled an 18 week ultrasound but I was too impatient. I know there are tests that the doctor can do as well but since I’m under 35 years old, in the state of MA and with our insurance plan, this test was not covered and it would have been more like $300 to take. It boasted a 99% accuracy and if you could bring yourself to prick your own finger and collect a vial of blood, you could detect your baby’s gender as early as 10 weeks from home for less than $100. Intelligender was actually right for me but I couldn’t find it this time around but I did learn about a new test called Sneak Peek Early Gender DNA Test. With Tommy, I tried all the old wives tales and even a pee test called Intelligender. **Once again, only looking for experience with the Sneak Peek SNAP, not the Sneak Peek lancets.I love trying to guess my babies’ genders. So to my fellow Sneak Peek SNAP test takers, how was your experience? Was the test accurate? We are excited regardless for our daughter to have a little sibling so we won’t be heartbroken either way. We get confirmation on the 29th so we don’t have to wait too much longer but we thought the test would be fun to try. My husband (currently only male in the house) was at work during the time I tested.ĭespite all this, results came back as a baby BOY! I’m excited but I realize that there’s a chance my genius self got it contaminated somehow (I’m naturally the queen of paranoia.) I did everything humanly possible to make sure there was no risk of contamination. I wiped down her table 3 times and almost filled up the tube immediately on accident (didn’t realize my blood would collect in seconds.) I was a little over 16 weeks at time of testing. I took the SNAP in my daughter’s room using her changing table (no shade to my wonderful husband but that’s not an area he frequents.) I did wash my hands/scrub my arm in the bathroom but I made sure not to touch anything and air dry. I could find out my baby’s sex as early as 8 weeks pregnant And being completely administered at home, it was a great option amidst a pandemic. I know this just came out in June but this is the test I took.** The test we did in 2016 was no longer an option for us (it became much more expensive for elective tests) but thanks to facebook algorithms, I had stumbled on Sneak Peek’s Early Gender DNA Test. **I am only looking for experiences with Sneak Peek SNAP on its accuracy. Hello! My apologies if this is the millionth post in regards to this, I’ve posted in moms groups about this but I keep getting responses in regards to the Sneak Peek lancet tests.
